Who the heck is Vezelle?

Nobody important.

I’m just a random person who likes making games in an attempt to delight others the same way that games are constantly delighting me. So far my released titles consist of Inkshade (it’s on Steam), and going forward, I plan on making even more games and sharing the process with you here.

But why would I subscribe, Vezelle?

Because the button above is very polite, albeit a tad impatient. But also for the following:

New Games and Early Playtesting

Be the first to hear about new games and ideas before they’re fully crystalized, new developments, and get the scoop on early playtesting.

You’ll also get full access to the newsletter and publication archives for as long as my fingers still work.

Game Development

If you’re interested in game development and would like to hear a few casual thoughts from a self-taught developer, those will be sprinkled in as well :)

Topics could include anything from programming to music, art to business, and of course why fatal errors will be the death of me.

Community

Substack auto-populated a very HR-coded statement about being part of a community here (I deleted it). While chatting and commenting is good and all, and the community over on the Official Discord is one of my favorite things to come out of Inkshade, this newsletter is really more like if you were hiding in the closet of my office and listening to me talking to myself, disclosing secrets, and yelling at digital clouds.

Note: this is not a corporate newsletter

More like a way for me to directly keep in touch with the people who are interested in what I’m doing. Anyway, do you think there’s a limit to how many of these little button widgets I can paste in here?

Tragically, I have paste them one at a time.

Ok I am bored now. Might add more buttons later. Thanks for stopping by!

(I came back to add more buttons, but it won’t let me paste more than one below here. But I can still paste more in the block above. How curious.)
